Inspired by traditional Norwegian Gapahuk, or lean-to, the Granasjoen Viewpoint is a multifunctional shelter in the mountains of Norway. Its brown timber cladding and grass roof blend into the natural landscape. Fitted with a custom bench and wood-burning stove, the structure can serve as a bath house, guest house, grill shed, or lounge area. The stone flooring bleeds out to the exterior creating an outdoor patio. A sliding glass door is angled just right to frame in views of the surrounding Granasjøen lake and mountains beyond.
