Henry Moore Studios

Located on a 70-acre estate in the Hertfordshire countryside, the Henry Moore Studios is the headquarters for the artist's foundation. The charity has been run out of Henry Moore's former home for decades, providing the base for the current expansion. The refurbished house now serves as an archive of the artist's letters, books, photographs, and films, while an extension clad in oxidized steel panels houses the new library. A timber and glass pavilion creates the visitors center which includes a cafe, education space, meeting rooms, and offices. It's curved form and glazed facade gives glimpses of the grounds extensive gardens, as wells as some of Moore's infamous bronze sculptures.
