Hideaway House

If you're looking for privacy, it doesn't get more secluded than the Hideaway House. The blackened timber cabin is situated on a 52.7 private mountain surrounded by ancient forests. Originally built in 1993 and remodeled in 2021, the retreat features a series of interlocking wooden volumes nestled into the rustic landscape. Inside, bright white walls act as a gallery to frame in views of the coastal scenery, while polished concrete floors add to the minimalist aesthetic. Although the setting feels remote, the property is just a 20-minute float plane from Vancouver.
