Located in north London, the Highbury Hill House uses steel-framed glass to expand on a Victorian family home. The new single-story glazed addition creates a light-filled space for an open kitchen and dining room, while also forming an outdoor courtyard with the existing structure. Inside, exposed brick walls, oak parquet flooring, and black metal and wood trim the interior to establish an industrial palette. A separate rooftop extension makes room for an office with floor-to-ceiling windows, framing in views of the nearby Arsenal Stadium.
