House JRv2
Situated on the edge of a pond north of Poznan, Poland, House JRv2 uses its site's natural slope to its advantage. From the road, the larch-clad garage is nearly all that's visible, supported by a concrete structure underneath. Enclosed within the latter are two wings, one for the master bedroom, and another for the living, dining, and kitchen areas. A large deck connects the living area with the bedroom, while a guest bedroom is set off to the side, underneath the garage. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide plenty of natural light, as well as views of the surrounding water, trees, and fields.
