House of Flowers

Flowers Vineyard & Winery is known for its sustainability and nature-based ethos so when it came time to select a new facility, they wanted the venue to reflect the spirit of their brand. The project is located on a 15.5-acre estate in Healdsburg that was once home to a former winery in the mid-'70s. Walker Warner Architects made use of the site's existing building, choosing to renovate the warehouse rather than tear it down. Preserving its rustic charm, they added a standing-seam metal roof and blackened redwood cladding to the gabled silhouette while the interiors feature a palette of cypress, concrete, and oak. Along with the impeccable internal spaces by Maca Huneeus Design, visitors can also taste wine while immersed in nature in the new pathways and exterior gardens created by Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects.
