Howard Hughes' Beverly Hills Party Pad

We know it was built in 1960. We know it was designed by Samuel Wacht. And while it may or may not have belonged to the enigmatic tycoon, Howard Hughes' Beverly Hills Party Pad does have a couple of features he would have enjoyed. To help keep him isolated, there's a state-of-the-art security system controlled from an iPad, and the house also comes with a plane. But it's the mid-century design that's the real star, with glass walls looking out onto the pool and spa, a sunken conversation pit, an upper deck with a wet bar, multiple fireplaces, and a permit for a 900 sq. ft. subterranean addition that would be perfect for a screening room.
