Islesboro House
Situated on a peninsula off the coast of Maine, the Islesboro House is an escapist's paradise. The remote retreat includes a dwelling, boathouse, and studio sitting lightly on the rugged terrain. Each one is framed in wood and clad in stained cedar, while interiors contrast their dark facades with warm wood planks and white walls. Floor-to-ceiling glazing wraps living spaces in views of the neighboring tidal pools, meadows, and forest, as well as the Camden Hills in the distance.
