Lac Plaisant Cottage
There's beauty in simplicity and Lac Plaisant Cottage is a prime example of that. Completely clad in white cedar, the lakeside cabin is made up of a single gabled roof. Its steep pitch creates a spacious interior allowing for second-story bedrooms. Inside, the studs were left exposed and painted a clean white hue. The main living area is positioned toward the lakeshore. On the southern end, a double-height wall of glass frames in views of the landscape for the entire room. On the other side of the glazing, the oversized roof creates a covered terrace where the surrounding nature can be enjoyed firsthand.
