Accessible only by boat, the Lille Aroya Cabin rests on the rocky coast of a Norwegian island. The home sits on a foundation of galvanized steel stilts to accommodate for its uneven plot. Connected by a timber walkway, the structure is comprised of two volumes. First, a post-and-beam construction that houses the bedrooms and bathrooms within its pine-clad shell. Sitting perpendicular is a glass wing containing the main living areas. Cantilevering over the jagged shoreline, its glazed faced takes advantage of unobstructed views of the seaside landscape.
