In 2024, humans will return to the moon. SAGA Space Architects wants to colonize our satellite with their Lunark Moon Habitat. To test the domains readiness, its creators Sebastian Aristotelis and Karl-Johan Sørensen are looking to put the potential lunar dwelling through its paces by placing it in Earth's most extreme environment — Northern Greenland. Like the moon, the arctic region has long periods of sunlight, a vast landscape, and harsh temperatures below 30 degrees, allowing the team to get an authentic simulation of living on the Moon. The three-month expedition will allow the pair to test the pod's solar panel skin and zero wast ecosystem as well as its ability to withstand alien polar bears. The mission will start in April of 2020.
