Situated on the waterfront in Austin, the Manana Lakehouse is a modern take on the cabin retreat. It's comprised of two gabled forms connected from a glazed walkway. A rough, cedar cladding and metal roof reference rural camp vibes on the exterior, while the inside is a bright, modern haven. White walls washed-in sunlight create a light, airy backdrop for bright-colored tiles and retro furniture, and to take advantage of the scenery, long rows of windows and walls of glazing highlight views of the lakeshore ahead.
