Muelle House
Sitting parallel to the coast, the Muelle House is a seaside retreat in Chile. The timber home is situated on a hillside relying on a foundation of wooden stilts for support across the sloping terrain. Its linear layout follows the ocean's horizon, ensuring it is in clear view throughout every room. Half of the wood-lined interior is dedicated to the bedrooms and bathrooms and the other consists of the main living areas. A glazed hallway separates the two spaces. On the mountainside, the doors open to a fire pit while the north-facing windows lead to a deck overlooking the Pacific.
