Nahahum Canyon Cabin
Nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, the Nahahum Canyon Cabin by Balance Associates is a family retreat designed to last generations. Its position was chosen to maximize the solar panels' exposure to the sun, hide the homes on the valley floor, and provide scenic canyon views. The lower level, which is partially set into the mountain with a concerte exterior, is home to an open kitchen, dining, and living area, as well as a covered patio accessed via sliding glass panels. Clad in painted timber and covered with a metal roof, the upper story is home to two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a loft; the property is finished off with a separate garage set roughly 300 feet from the home.
