Nova House
Situated on a sloping site in the mountains of Asheville, the Nova House puts the focus on the rugged surroundings. Its exterior develops a modern mountain aesthetic with a combination of cast-in-place concrete, steel, glass, stone, and Garapa. The structure itself settles into the hillside, allowing parts of the home to cantilever over the hillside. Internally, contemporary living spaces are finished in natural materials, while walls of glazing connect the interior to views of the Appalachians and downtown Asheville.
