Oak Refuge Cabin
Mixing rustic materials and a modern design, the Oak Refuge Cabin is a timeless retreat in Upstate New York. It's comprised of five connected units. Large sliding doors join the spaces, allowing the interior to be one open layout or closed off into individual mini-cabins. Walls lined with wide, rough cut boards, provide a primitive backdrop for a palette of concrete, brass, and blackened steel. Vast expanses of glazing showcase the forest landscape in nearly every room. At the heart of the home is the living area. Fitted with a ceramic fire pit, the space becomes a cozy refuge from everyday life.
