Surrounded by a natural Mediterranean garden, the Pine Forest Home uses a horizontal layout to capture the best views. The house sits on a small hilltop, overlooking a grove of pine trees. Taking advantage of the wooded plot, the rear elevation is made of floor-to-ceiling glazing. A linear floor plan works with this glass facade to highlight the scenery in nearly every room. Large concrete terraces extend each level to the outdoors, while also providing protection for the area below. A natural palette of wood and stone compliments the surrounding environment, blending the contemporary form into the landscape.
