Pine House
In a thick pine forest along the Baltic Sea, Russian-based Line Design Studio imagines the Pine House. The angular cabin is completely clad in a black facade allowing the near-windowless form to blend into the surrounding greenery. In contrast to the stark exterior, the inside is lined in warm wood paneling. The main living spaces are located on the ground floor where full-height glazing opens to a sheltered terrace. Above, a second-story loft houses a bedroom and sitting area. Extending toward the sky, the level is capped with a window framing in views of the treetops.
