Rainforest House

Set on a mountainside overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Rainforest House manages to blend into the surroundings despite it monolithic, rectangular design. Its layout is the reverse of many traditional homes, with a deck, children's play area, and utilities on the ground floor, six bedrooms on the next level up, including five with their own decks, and a glass-walled top floor that holds the living room and kitchen inside, with an infinity pool, firepit, hot tub, and sauna in the social outdoor spaces. The building is primarily constructed from exposed concrete and wood, the latter adding warmth to an otherwise modern affair.
