Rones Cabin
Perched on a rocky hillside in Norway, the Rones Cabin is a minimal design with major views. The shelter's compact size is contained to just 500 square feet to accommodate the rugged terrain and respect the natural landscape. The concrete shell was left exposed to the interior, complemented by polished concrete floors while Norwegian birch furnishings and an upper level lined in Norwegian pine add a warm layer to the raw palette. The simplicity of the interior allows the focus to turn to views of the fjord, connecting the interior to nature through expansive wood-framed windows.
