Shibui House
The Japanese term "shibui" is an aesthetic characterized by simplicity and restraint. Inspired by this discipline, Red Architecture designed the Shibui House. The residence is located in New Zealand and is comprised of two structures. Its main house is a clean, timber-clad volume free of any adornments or decorative elements. An asymmetric building with a shingled facade continues the minimalist theme. Both buildings are connected by a gravel garden, creating a sculptural atmosphere.
