On the edge of Stoney Lake, the Sky House is a vibrant waterside retreat. Sitting on a steep slope, the home is comprised of two stacked volumes. The lower structure is tucked into the terrain, propping up the main level. Unlike the rustic, timber-clad exterior, the inside is a modern white, accented with pops of blue, yellow, and pink. Running along the shoreline, the living area is backed by a wall of sliding glass doors. The glazing welcomes in views of the landscape while also opening out to a terrace, created by the roof of the bottom level.
