Skylark Cabin
Nestled in the grasslands of Twizel, New Zealand, the Skylark Cabin is a modest retreat designed to take advantage of the area's dramatic landscapes. The timber-clad retreat never loses sight of the scenery. Whether inside or out, views of the Black Hills, Backbone Peak, and the Ben Ohau range are always on display through walls of glazing and carefully placed windows. The vistas continue at night with circular skylights above the best. Stargazing sessions can also take place outdoors in the world's largest Dark Sky Reserve while soaking in the stainless steel bath or lounging on the wooden terrace.
