Built on the rooftop of a five-story apartment building in Bangkok, the Skyscape Rooftop House makes use of wasted space with impressive results. The minimalist dwelling features a clean, rectangular form and a low profile. Balau wood planks clad nearly the entire interior for a warm, cohesive atmosphere while a wall of floor-to-ceiling glazing creates a borderless effect. A gird layout divides the living spaces into six rooms, all organized around a central courtyard. Private areas are hidden from the road in the rear of the home and the common areas are located behind the glass facade to enjoy panoramic vistas of the Lat Phrao district.
