Slovakian Hidden Bedroom Apartment

Housed in a renovated 18th-century monastery, the Slovakian Hidden Bedroom Apartment uncovers some hidden treasures from its past, while creating some new ones of its own. Many of the 20-century updates were reverted back to their original state, opening the space up and exposing the existing wooden trusses. The majority of the home is comprised of the kitchen, living room, and dining room, featuring 11-foot ceilings, herringbone floors, a wood-burning stove, and large windows. To add a whimsical touch to the seemingly standard apartment, a wall of floor-to-ceiling bookcases opens up to reveal a secret master bedroom.
