Sonoma House
Situated on the coast of Cabo San Lucas, the Sonoma House reimagines the traditional beach retreat as a modern desert oasis. The home consists of a series of boxy volumes sited on a rugged hillside. Their concrete facades are finished with a sandy hue to blend into the natural landscape of Baja California Sur. Its interior walls replicate the exterior with a neutral palette, while expansive glazing brings in views of the Sea of Cortez. Living spaces expand outside to an oceanfront terrace where a pool, jacuzzi, and fire pit overlook the incoming waves.
