Designed as a painter's retreat, Studio Bahia Azul by Felipe Assadi Arquitectos leaves you alone with your canvas — and the sea. The building, located in Los Vilos, Chile, extends the frame-like entranceway and stairs with a single concerte wall on the left side, which flows past the interior garden to the main workspace. The space is sparsely furnished, with floor-to-ceiling windows at the end and natural light cascading in from both sides, providing indirect illumination ideal for artistic endeavors.
