Along with Studio Gang and Henning Larsen, Snohette is in the running to design the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in North Dakota. Their proposal is a celebration of the 26th president and the landscapes that influenced his life. Comprised of a series of small pavilions integrated into the terrain, the project is more of a journey through the preserved landscape. Visitors can travel along the connecting walkways, exploring Roosevelt's legacy while immersed in the surrounding badlands. Along with internal exhibits, guests will have access to the building's rooftops where they can take in views across the National Park, the Little Missouri River Valley, and Elkhorn Ranch by day and a sky full of stars at night. Currently one of three finalists, the winning design will be selected in late September 2020.
