Uber Shed 02

There are garages, and then there's the Uber Shed 02. The converted steel shed in Victoria, Australia has been reborn as the ultimate gear head's hangout. Originally built four years ago, the old building wasn't living up to its full potential so the owners called upon Jost Architects to rework the space to house a collection that include a WWII army Jeep, an Airstream bus, and antique motorcycles. Its existing corrugated facade was replaced with timber planks, expansive glazing, and barn-style sliding doors while the interior now boasts a living area, bedroom, game room, and outdoor shower. Of course, the centerpiece of the project is the automobile showroom that displays cars and an assortment of vintage memorabilia.
