Built for a pair of airplane pilots, the V60 House is designed to help them reconnect with nature between flights. The home is separated into three zones — a living area, a bedroom, and a guest area — each is separated by a lush courtyard. To go from area to area, residents must walk through the outdoor terraces, taking advantage of the fresh air and verdant scenery along the way. Expansive glazing affords another opportunity to interact with the greenery while also folding open to produce natural ventilation. Interiors adopt the natural tranquility of the exterior with wood-clad walls, marble slabs, and a minimalist aesthetic.
