Situated on a hillside in Tuanjie, the Woodhouse Hotel aims to bring agricultural tourism to rural China. The property consists of ten wooden cabins resting on stilts to preserve the existing rock formations. Each one is unique in design and orientated to capture the best views of the landscape. Dark, carbonized wood exteriors intend to blend into the forested scenery while wood lining creates a warm, minimalist atmosphere on the interior. Throughout the inside, thoughtfully placed glazed panels frame in individual vistas for every cottage.
