Woodland Pyramid House

When it comes to the Woodland Pyramid House, the title says it all. The home is nestled on a wooded 25-acre site in the Berkshires. It's structured from a nine-square grid comprised of four plywood trusses situated on eight cinder block walls. The steeply pitched roof gives the home a pyramid-like look while adding a mezzanine space to the interior. On the inside, the 2,300-square-foot dwelling consists of a single room containing a kitchen, dining area, and living room. Its minimal material palette is defined by concrete floors and walls topped by a plywood ceiling. Along with skylights, large glazed panels warm the space with natural light and frame in views of the rural setting.
