Woodnest Cabin

Nestled in a Norwegian forest just a 20-minute walk from Odda, the Woodnest Cabin offers the unique experience to dwell in the canopies. The timber treehouse, designed by Helen & Hard Architects, is anchored to the trunk of a living pine almost 20 feet off the ground. A small bridge leads to the interior where a living space, kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping for four are arranged around the supporting tree. Wood lining creates a warm atmosphere while large panels of glazing wrap guests in views of Hardangerfjord below and the mountains in the distance, keeping them constantly in tune with the surrounding nature.
