Xindian House

Mixing modern design and natural finishes, the Xindian House bridges the styles of a couple to create an impressive home in Taiwan. The apartment is divided between public and private spaces with the material of the floor. A concrete foundation is designated to the main living area. The gray hue transitions up the plastered walls which are then topped with a dramatic arched ceiling. In the kitchen, rich wood panels act as a backdrop for a bronze island. The bedrooms are defined by parquet floors that continue up the walls and ceiling. To further differentiate the two wings, soft white partitions finish out the personal quarters.
