Comic strips and luxury watches typically have little in common, which is why these Bamford DRx Army Navy Watches ($24,500-$32,500) are so unique. The result of a collaboration between King Features Syndicate and Darren Romanelli, these custom Rolexes have been created by the loving hands of the Bamford Watch Department. Beetle Bailey appears on the face — and hands — of a customized Submariner, while Popeye makes his presence known on the front of a customized Yacht Master, and each arrives in an appropriately Army- or Navy-themed metal box, along with a nylon strap, and a custom comic strip. Limited to just 20 examples each and available at eight select boutiques in LA, Miami, Paris, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
Bond's next adventure might not hit the big screen until November, but you can start gearing up now with the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Skyfall Watch ($TBA). Created to celebrate the 23rd on-screen Bond adventure, this unique timepiece features Omega's new Co-Axial calibre 8507 movement, a 42mm brushed stainless steel case with matching bracelet, water resistance down to 2,000 feet, a date window at 3 o'clock, and 007 logos on the clasp, at the 7 o'clock, and on its rotor, which is visible through the crystal in the screw-in caseback. Limited to just 5,007 pieces, it arrives in a special presentation box, but unfortunately doesn't include a license to kill, or even a license to travel the world bedding beautiful women, for that matter.
