Bang & Olufsen Beosystem 9000c Music System
With an innovative design that put the artwork of six CDs on vertical display — as opposed to hidden inside a changer — Bang & Olufsen's Beosound 9000 became a mainstay of upscale homes, whether they be real or on a screen. The company is bringing it back with the Beosystem 9000c Music System. Part of the Recreated Classics series, the system starts with an original Beosound 9000 that was procured, returned to the company's Struer, Denmark factory, and meticulously disassembled, cleaned, repaired, tested, and fine-tuned. The units are paired with a set of Beolab 28 speakers, which add modern features like wireless streaming, Chromecast, AirPlay 2, and Bluetooth to the mix while delivering powerful sound from a series of powered drivers that are hidden behind a series of aluminum lamellas when not in use.
