The future is still bright for those looking to drive a seriously-powerful American-made muscle car off the lot — and the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is just the car for them. Billed as the most powerful Chrysler engine made to date, this supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 produces over 600 horsepower, making it a highly-capable track car. All this power goes through either a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic. Multiple drive modes let you customize the ride and horsepower depending on whether you're headed to the track or just driving to work, while Brembo brakes and forged-aluminum wheels help improve the driving experience.
To celebrate the end of the line for the model, the guys from Detroit have announced a special limited edition 2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe — kitted out with a black grill, matte black wheels, red Brembo brake calipers, and available in a gorgeous black finish. Inside you'll find upgrades throughout, with Recaro racing seats with red details, metal control surfaces, a suede-covered steering wheel and shifter, and wood trim. It still comes with the impressive power plant you expect: a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with 556 horsepower available with either a six-speed manual or automatic. Limited to only 500 units, you could pick yours up in white or gray instead of black — but who would want to do that?
For it's latest update, the 2015 Dodge Challenger takes a look at its past, digging even deeper into retro-inspired design (with specific influence drawn from the 1971 model) while adding some modern safety features for those concerned with their wellbeing. In addition to its old-school styling — most obvious in its split grill, hood bulge, gloss black trim, and lighting — it's now available with a 6.4-liter V8 producing a muscle-car-worthy 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. Collision warning, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring and stability control combined with a modern infotainment system make this ride a bit more current, while a track-ready suspension and tire system make it ideal for a day out on the tarmac.
