Named after the molecular formula for nitroglycerine, the C3H5N3O9 Experiment ZR012 Watch (110,000 CHF; roughly $118,000) certainly qualifies as experimental. Created in a partnership between MB&F and URWERK, the C3H5N3O9 — aka Nitro — features a Wankel engine-inspired display with separate triangular-shaped rotors to indicate hours and minutes, a zirconium case, and articulated rear lugs that make the relatively large timepiece sit well on nearly any sized wrist.
