Delta Lab Recording Studios

Delta Lab Recording Studios

If you're a budding musician in need of a recording studio who happens to be hanging out in downtown Copehnhagen, should probably swing by Delta Lab Recording Studios ($615 per day). Your money will get you a professional recording studio, analog or vintage audio equipment, and the attention of a professional in-house team to help you put together that next hip-hop hit. Delta Lab has recently been rebuilt and refurbed, so you won't feel like you're recording in the disco era.

  • Akazawa PLEN Robot

Those longing for their dearly departed Sony Aibo may be able to find a new robotic friend in the Akazawa PLEN Desktop Hobby Robot ($2,400). Only 50 of these little, expensive hobby robots are initially being made. Designed to be controlled through Bluetooth devices such as your cell phone or a PC keyboard, this little guy can be instructed to mount and use a tiny skateboard with ease. He can also get busy with a pair of snap-on skates to do basic stunts like the pros.

  • Star Wars Postage Stamps

We may have an irrational hatred of the USPS (Who doesn't?) but every once in a while they surprise us — like with the release of these Star Wars Postage Stamps (41 cents each; May 25). The stamps, released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of A New Hope, feature images of Star Wars' most iconic characters and scenes, like Darth Vader and Princess Leia with R2-D2. Oh, and if the stamps just aren't enough for you, they'll also be releasing three limited edition Express Mail boxes featuring Vader, Obi-Wan, and Yoda.
