Plymouth Orchard Tractor

Both exceedingly rare and truly groundbreaking, this Plymouth Orchard Tractor is a display-worthy piece of agricultural history. The only Orchard model of the 214 built, it's literally one of a kind, but that's not it's real claim to fame. Instead, that comes from the fact that it was the first tractor to be designed for use with rubber tires instead of the studded steel wheels used before. Lightweight and powered by a Hercules IXB engine, it could hit speeds of up to 25 mph — something that drew the ire of Chrysler's lawyers before learning that the company built a car in 1910. It, like the tractor, was named after the place it was built: Plymouth, OH.
