Pressy

Think of Pressy ($20) as an IFTTT button made just for your Android smartphone — as in, press it once and instantly snap a photo, press it twice and share your location to your favorite social network. This little button slides into your headphone jack, and includes an app that lets you customize commands to respond to a sequence of short and long presses. It can let you do pretty much anything, without even unlocking your phone. When you want to use your headphones, the switch on your earbuds doubles as a programmable button, and Pressy slips into its keychain sleeve. The only drawback is it's not available for iOS, and may never be. [Scouted by Abdel]

  • SkyBell

See who's ringing your doorbell without even leaving the couch — or from miles away — with the SkyBell. This easy-to-install device connects to your existing doorbell wiring using only a screwdriver in just a couple of minutes. It's WiFi-enabled, and contains a button, day- and night-vision camera, microphone, speaker, and motion sensor, letting you see and communicate with whoever rings your door. It pairs with an included iOS app, letting you monitor your door from inside your home, at the office, or away on vacation, so you can choose whether to interact, or just let it ring.

  • El Rey Effects Guitar Pedals

While there are certainly plenty of options out there for guitar players looking to add something special to their sound, there's nothing out there quite like El Rey Effects Guitar Pedals ($150). Hand-wired and custom-painted here in Cincy, these pedals look as good on your board as they sound coming out of your amp. Choose from pedals like the Mexican-wrestling-inspired Lucha Fuzz, the Ouija-board-inspired The Mystic, and several more. Whatever you choose, you're bound to make bandmates jealous and audience-members move.
