Everyone has that technology-challenged loved one that hasn't yet joined the email generation. Well, now they can at least receive emails, all without touching a computer. The HP Printing Mailbox for Presto ($150; Nov. 1) uses the new dial-up email service to retrieve messages sent to their Presto email account, and then prints them out according to the selected Presto Style. Presto Styles reformat messages to appear in full color, improving readability. The service costs $10 a month or $100 a year.

The Dyson Root 6 has twice the suction of other handhelds, and uses a rechargeable lithium ion battery and comes with a specially designed combination brush/stair tool for cleaning. Plus, it just looks like it can shoot powerful laser beams with the push of a button.
