Sony SRS-X9 Speaker

Most Bluetooth speakers are designed to be thrown into a bag — or very large pocket — and carried with you wherever you go. The Sony SRS-X9 Speaker is most definitely an exception to this rule. Weighing in at over 10 pounds, it features four tweeters, two midrange speakers, and a subwoofer with dual passive radiators, a powerful amp cranking out over 150 watts of power, support for high-resolution audio, and the ability to stream music over Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, or USB. One-touch listening with NFC-compatible phones, the ability to charge your phone or tablet over USB when attached, and a sleek black body that will look good in any environment, round out the offering.

  • Revo SuperConnect Radio

It might not look futuristic — in fact, with its American Walnut cabinet, slew of buttons, and rotary volume control, it looks quite the opposite — but you'd be hard pressed to find a system more ready for linking to modern-day sources than the Revo SuperConnect Radio. Like any true radio, it features tuners for DAB, DAB+, and FM broadcasts, but also boasts built-in Wi-Fi for connection to thousands of Internet radio stations, Spotify, and local DLNA streaming sources, and Bluetooth with aptX for high-quality wireless streaming directly from your devices.

  • Beep

Just because you want to listen to music wirelessly around your home or apartment, doesn't mean you need to go and replace all the speakers you've accumulated over the years. With Beep — a small Wi-Fi enabled device that connects to any stereo or speaker system with an RCA jack, auxiliary input, or optical input — you can play music to any connected speaker or group of speakers from your iOS or Android phone. With the ability to synchronize music across a range of Beeps, you can play your music throughout your place, or choose different music for different Beeps. While it only currently has built in support for Pandora, plenty of other app support is on its way.
