Teatanic

Teatanic

How does one go about celebrating the 100th anniversary of one of a tragic accident in which 1,514 people died? You make a tea bag holder, of course! The Teatanic (€11; roughly $13) is designed to resemble the ill-fated RMS Titanic, crafted from stainless steel with a mug-filling body that allows you to press on its sides to squeeze out all available goodness. Play "My Heart Will Go On" while drinking to complete the experience.

  • Cube Tube

Unless you have a built-in ice maker, odds are you have to deal with ice cube trays — and all the water spillage that comes with them. The Cube Tube ($TBA) is designed to eliminate that problem. Its vertical ice cube tray prevents spillage by allowing you to fill up a clear tube that works with a 14-cube divider to lock in the water, making it incredibly easy to get your frozen friends out one-at-a-time when its time for a cold drink.

  • Floating Mug

A mug with a built-in coaster? Brilliant! Inspired by a banana holder, the Floating Mug ($20) is exactly that: a white porcelain mug — perfect for coffee or tea — that separates the liquid-holding portion from the ground by integrating a coaster into the handle, keeping the heat away from sensitive surfaces like wood, while giving the cup itself a cool floating look. Hence the name.
