WilliamsWarn Personal Brewery

Interested in getting into home brewing but put off by the complex, lengthy process? The WilliamsWarn Personal Brewery (NZ$5,700; roughly $4,500) was made for you. By keeping the entire brewing process inside a single unit, the WilliamsWarn is able to carbonate the beer during the first day of fermentation, keep it the correct temperature throughout the process, remove sediment, clarify the beer, and keep it pressurized while you enjoy ice cold beer directly from the built-in tap. Time from start to drink? One week, or as much time as it will take to recover from the hangover caused by the last batch.

    Rail Yard Wine Rack

Perhaps the only thing more telling than a wine aficionado's collection is the rack they keep their best bottles in. The Rail Yard Wine Rack ($TBA) is made using rescued and reused materials, including pieces of rail from the early 1900s, hickory crossties, and switch plate cuffs for feet. Fill with recent vintages for a nice contrast between old and new.

    Durand Corkscrew

If you're a collector of fine vintage wines, you probably know that getting 30+ year-old corks out can be a pain. Which is why you need the Durand Corkscrew ($125). Designed by a well-known wine collector and named after a world-class sommelier, this unique tool uses a combination of a standard helix and two different-length blades to gently ease even the most stubborn of corks out of the bottle. Cheers.
