Making Records at Record Industry

Vinyl is back. Or it's been back, and coming even more back, depending on who you ask. Either way, in Haarlem, Netherlands, the Record Industry pressing plant kicks out about 40,000 to 50,000 LPs a day. Owner Ton Vermeulen's love for music led him to purchase the plant, making him one of the world's biggest lovers of vinyl.

    What started as a Neo Geo fansite became the breeding ground for animation as we currently know it. Launched in 1995, Newgrounds laid the template for sites like YouTube, years before YouTube was a household name. Newgrounds was also instrumental in breaking down the traditional gates to animation, leading a new generation of animators have come to define the genre.

    Taking from the book The Operators: The Wild & Terrifying Inside Story of America's War in Afghanistan, War Machine follows the turbulent rise and fall of Four-star General Stanley McChrystal. Brad Pitt portrays McChrystal as Dan McMahon during his time as commander of the NATO forces in Afghanistan until an unflattering profile in Rolling Stone magazine lead to his termination by President Obama. Also starring Tilda Swinton and Sir Ben Kingsley, the film comes to Netflix May 26, 2017.
