1800s Catskill Mountain Lodge
Situated on 50 wooded acres in the Catskill Mountains, the Moose Lodge is a picturesque retreat with great potential. The Adirondack-style house was build in 1898 by a railroad executive to entertain family and guests and was constructed from local timber, fieldstone, and river rock. Its rugged interior includes wood-lined walls, massive stone fireplaces, and exposed timber framing. Although the rustic chalet has received upgrades to the roof, electric, and water tank, the property is looking for new owners to bring it back to life as a possible family getaway or remote bed and breakfast.
