1952 Ferrari Arno XI Racing Boat
Built with the goal of breaking the World Speed Record on the water, the Ferrari Arno XI Racing Boat isn't just a record-breaker. It's the only Ferrari-powered boat in the world. The 3-point hydroplane is built from hardwood, with a handsome mahogany veneer. When Enzo learned that the upper body had been painted Ferrari red, he sent the Scuderia F1 team to help on the build. The resulting craft used the 550+ horsepower from a modified Grand Prix engine to hit a speed of 150.49 mph, a record that stands to this day. Given its provenance, it's being completely restored and certified by Ferrari Classiche, and will also come with the U.I.M. record certification that attests to Achille Castoldi's 1953 speed record.
