2021 Google Nest Hub
At a glance, the new Nest Hub from Google doesn't look all that different from the Home Hub it replaces. Yet for those willing to stick it on a nightstand, it's got a notable new trick. Leveraging radar-based Project Soli technology that previously appeared in the Pixel 4 range of phones, its Sleep Sensing feature tracks the movements and breathing patterns of a person sleeping nearby, and also monitors ambient sounds, light, and temperature to provide an overview of sleep quality — no wearable required. It remains useful for all the same things as its predecessor, including smart home control, photo viewing on its 7-inch screen, and listening to music, with a 50% bass boost over the prior model.
