2022 Apple iPhone SE
While Apple's flagship iPhones get yearly updates, typically in September or October, its budget-priced iPhone SE sees more sporadic improvements. For 2022, it retains the same Touch ID-based glass and aluminum design as the iPhone 8 but upgrades the internals substantially. It's powered by the same A15 Bionic chip as the iPhone 13 and has 5G networking, yet improved battery life over the prior model. Its revised 12-megapixel rear camera gets computational photography features thanks to the new chip, and the phone also offers IP67 water and dust resistance.
